New Retina MacBook Pro 2016 review

New Retina MacBook Pro 2016 release date & specs rumours: WWDC 2016 launch | 4/5K high-resolution display | Weird rumour predicts 'no physical keys'

Mac users were disappointed by Apple's 21 March event, which instead focused on iPad and iPhone updates. When will the next MacBook Pro come out? Apple last updated its 13in and 15in MacBook Pro laptops in March and May of 2015 respectively, so it can't be long till the new line comes out - and we expect a new MacBook Pro at WWDC 2016 in June

When will the next MacBook Pro for 2016 come out? The Pro line-up is due for an update, isn't it?
We think there could be new MacBook Pro models pretty soon. There are two sizes of MacBook Pro models available from Apple right now: a 13in model, which was last updated in March 2015, and a 15in model, last updated in May 2015. (You can buy them here.) We had hoped for new MacBook Pro models on 21 March at Apple's Spring event, but Apple didn't mention Macs at all - instead, they're likely to get an update at WWDC 2016. You'll find everything there is to know so far about new MacBook Pro 2016 models in this release date, specs and new features rumour round-up.
Updated 13 May 2016 with resolution rumours, and on 20 May to very briefly discuss a new hinge design and a weird rumour about there being no physical keys at all. Weird!

MacBook Pro 2016 UK release date: When is the new MacBook Pro coming out?

Probably in summer 2016.
We had hoped for a new MacBook Pro at Apple's 21 March launch event. (Apple often launches new laptops at that time of year. The 13in MacBook Pro model was last updated on 9 March 2015; the 15in version is slightly younger, having seen an update on 19 May 2015.) Instead, we got the iPhone SEiPad Pro 9.7-inch and new Apple Watch straps. Those things are all great, of course, but if you were after a new MacBook Pro - or indeed any new laptops at all - then you're out of luck.
On 19 April, Apple quietly announced its new 12in MacBook 2016, and the MacBook Air got a very slight update too. Which just leaves the Pro.
